The Cornerstone Classroom Project will refurbish the current school building and provide two new classrooms which are modern, spacious and fit for purpose, in place of these temporary areas.
The Cornerstone Classroom Project will provide an additional separate Key Stage 2 library and SEN room allowing both the expansion of the school’s book collection and a dedicated space where Key Stage 2 children can explore literature and read in a relaxed, comfortable environment. This room will offer a nurturing and relaxed environment that can be used for individual and small group teaching and support those children that need specialist care with their education, development and with their mental health. Furthermore, it will offer a useful facility to the wider Thriplow community.
Cornerstone Classroom Project will provide a versatile work area convenient as a ‘hub’ for project work and invaluable for small group focused activities.
The Cornerstone Classroom Project will supply a dedicated music room so that there is greater provision of appropriate teaching space and storage facilities – both improving the learning experience and offering the opportunity to expand the number and range of instrumental lessons offered.
